We are a technology company that was founded in Africa, is built by Africans, and exists to create technology-driven value for Africa and the world. Our CSR commitments are not separate from our commercial strategy — they are an expression of it.
Digital Skills Development
The most acute technology deficit in Africa is not infrastructure or capital — it is skills. We invest directly in skills development through the GreaterHeight Academy, which trains developers, data analysts, cloud engineers, and digital marketers; through mentorship programmes for young technology professionals; and through partnerships with universities and training institutions.
We also run free and subsidised training initiatives for underserved communities — including programmes specifically designed for women entering the technology sector and for graduates from non-computer-science backgrounds who want to transition into technology careers.
Community Investment
Our Lagos headquarters is embedded in the city's technology ecosystem, and we actively support that ecosystem through sponsorship of community events, active participation in local technology communities, and by creating employment and opportunity in the city that shaped us.
We also provide pro-bono technology support to registered non-profit organisations working on social impact goals in education, healthcare, and food security — on a selective basis, prioritising organisations where technology can genuinely change outcomes.
Environmental Responsibility
We are a remote-first, digital-native business, and our environmental footprint is relatively small. Where we operate physical infrastructure, we prioritise cloud providers with strong environmental commitments. We are actively working toward formal carbon accounting for our operations and a clear net-zero roadmap.
Responsible Technology Practice
As a technology company, we recognise that the systems we build have social consequences. We are committed to building systems that are accessible, inclusive, and secure — and to declining engagements where we believe the technology would cause harm.
We apply privacy-by-design principles to every project, advocate for WCAG accessibility compliance as a baseline, and actively build our team's capability in the ethical dimensions of AI and data systems.
